David Pan is a senior member of the China Advisory team in the Global Banking and Markets Division of Goldman Sachs, primarily focused on Aviation Tech, Auto Tech, Transportation and Logistics, and other emerging industrials sub-sectors in Asia. Particularly, David has extensive experience in advising aviation and aviation tech companies on capital raise and strategic transactions. David joined Goldman Sachs in 2015 in Hong Kong and was named managing director in 2021. Prior to joining GS, David worked at Bank of America Merrill Lynch in Hong Kong. Earlier in his career, he worked as a credentialed actuary in the US for more than five years. David earned a BS in Physics from Peking University in 2003, an MS in Physics from Rice University in 2006 and an MBA from the University of Chicago Booth School of Business in 2012. He is currently pursuing an EMBA with PBCSF of Tsinghua University.
