Professor Tao Wu has over 20 vears of R&D experience on the efficient conversion and utilization of fossilfuels/biomass and the development of novel materials for environmental applications, His research programmescover a wide range from blue-sky research to proof of concept and patent development leading to commerciali-.sation. To date, Professor Wu has completed over 40 research projects funded by various funding bodies and hasdeveloped technologies that benefit the society through commercialisation.

Wei Xiaohui, male, from Luoyang, Henan Province, born in August 1978, is a professor, doctoral supervisor, and a recipient of the National Science Fund for Distinguished Young Scholars in Defense Science. He primarily focuses on research in the field of aircraft design. Currently, he serves as the Dean of both the College of Aerospace Engineering and the Helicopter Research Institute at Nanjing University of Aeronautics and Astronautics (NUAA), as well as the Director of the National Defense Key Discipline Laboratory of Advanced Aircraft Design Technology and the Director of the Jiangsu Provincial Collaborative Innovation Center for Light General Aviation Aircraft Technology. His research has earned him numerous awards, including one Second Prize of the National Science and Technology Progress Award, two First Prizes of National Defense Science and Technology Progress Award, and one First Prize for Technical Invention awarded by the Ministry of Education. He has also been honored with the Youth Science and Technology Award by the Chinese Society of Aeronautics and Astronautics and was named one of the Top Ten Youth Science and Technology Stars of Jiangsu Province.
Julia Wang joined CAE in 2016 as business operations director to establish CAE’s presence in China, lead and manage government affairs, corporate and market communications and business operations. Prior to joining CAE Julia has rich experience and approved track records in the field of civil aviation for over two decades. Her career is mainly spanning in International Aero Engines and Pratt & Whitney, where she has held various positions and played a pivotal role in overseeing the operations, developing function team and achieving market success in China.
