2023 Annual Meeting Review
On November 24, 2023, the Royal Aeronautical Society China Annual Conference was successfully held at the Les Menschen Hall, The Peninsula Shanghai on the Bund.
The event was jointly organized by the Society and the UK Department of Business and Trade, and was strongly supported by Rolls-Royce, Shanghai Society of Aeronautics and Shanghai Airshow. More than 40 industry experts and high-level representatives from the aviation industry, including those from COMAC, Airbus China, Boeing Shanghai, Pratt & Whitney Canada, GKN Aerospace, Meggit, BAE Systems, Beihang University, China Southern Airlines, Shanghai Tongji University, and Ningbo University of Nottingham, were invited to attend the event.

The China Fellowship Committee of the Society was established
Mr. Shen Wenjia, the representative of the Royal Aeronautical Society in China, announced the establishment of the Society's Fellows Committee in China. Royal Aeronautical Society China Reception Dinner
Afterwards, the Royal Aeronautical Society organized a dinner for the guests and took a group photo. Mr. Trevor Lewis, Innovation and Industry Counselor of the Commercial and Trade Department of the British Consulate General in Guangzhou, and Mr. Li An, Honorary Chairman of the Royal Aeronautical Society China, President of Rolls-Royce Greater China, and Honorary Chairman of the British Chamber of Commerce in China, delivered speeches at the dinner. The guests had a warm and interesting exchange on "Air Travel and the Continued Healthy Recovery of the Civil Aviation Industry", "Future Innovation and Development of Aviation Technology", and the hot topics of the ongoing Shanghai Air Show.
